Thanks to guys like Larry Olmsted exposing the problems in labeling, and Michael Pollan addressing what should be recognized as food – we are starting to really think about what we eat.

But majority are probably like the rest of us saps—tossing together a simple combination of protein, carb, and veg at the end of a tumultuous day. But, that’s not to say they haven’t stumbled upon some fare they’ve tried in a restaurant or made themselves that made them stop and say That was the greatest thing I’ve eaten all year.
